Brian and his team helped us move our whole family and all of our various furniture and items. They were the best team that I have ever worked with! They disassembled almost every furniture item to keep it from being scratched (they even disassembled a fridge!). They were meticulous and kept the walls and floors free from any scuffs. They stayed late and put all the furniture and appliances back together. They were SUPER friendly and Brian was a true professional. Would use again!
I've used Expert Movers a couple times for my business before using them to move my home. We had Expert Movers pack our home and bring everything to a storage facility. They struggled to fit everything in the storage space despite my assurances we could get a bigger storage space if needed - they continued to decline. Some time later we had them move the items from the storage space and unpack at our new home. While they were unpacking it became clear there were many damaged and broken pieces. They assured me all I needed to do was contact the office to file a claim as they would tell them of the damage too. I called and they eventually (had to call many times) and they sent me a damage itemization form. I filled it out that included thousands of dollars of damage to furniture, art pieces and rare artifacts. After a couple months they finally got back to me saying they would only offer $500 to cover the thousands of dollars of damage. The $500 didn't even cover one of the furniture pieces they smashed let alone the rare art pieces and artifacts they destroyed. Be warned, Expert Movers is not honorable or trustworthy.
Prior to the move, they are very communicative including email reminder updates about our upcoming move on 8/26. Company rep was very helpful over the phone when trying to calculate and estimate cost. After comparing costs (including the number of movers), Expert Movers were the most cost effective way to go. On moving day, Ivan and his crew were quick, efficient and very professional. Highly recommend. Would not hesitate to use this company again.
Truly amazing service. We moved from two condos at two different addresses into a single family home across town and we could not have had a better experience. Brayan R. was a great leader of his team, which included Alberto S., Elias P., Fidel, and Dennis. They arrived on time and ready to go! They worked so hard with efficiency but also lots of care. I'm not sure I ever saw them take a break for the nine hours it took to complete our move. Brayan checked in with us throughout the entire day to make sure everything was going well for us. They moved heavy items without a second thought. Everything was handled with respect, and there was not a single item damaged in the move which is incredible considering the scope of the job. Even considering all this, they still provided the most competitive quote of all of the highly- rated moving companies in Chicago.
I would absolutely hire them again!
Expert Movers brought in a fantastic team of movers led by Brayan, Ivan, Alberto, Elias and Julio. I’d give them 10 stars if I could- everything was perfect! They were hardworking, flexible, pleasant, patient and moved things when I needed furniture moved around. They were diligent in making sure furniture/surfaces did not get damaged. They worked so hard and were very considerate in asking us where we wanted furniture placed. I would hire them again in a heartbeat… they were recommended from a friend and I can’t wait to sue them again and refer them to my friends now. Thank you team Expert Movers- Bryan, you led a fantastic team and helped our new home feel like home so quickly!!
